Natural Gas Inventory Report 9-24-09

Working gas in storage was 3,525 Bcf as of Friday, September 18, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 67 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 509 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 485 Bcf above the 5-year average of 3,040 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 149 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 41 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 263 Bcf above the 5-year average of 863 Bcf after a net injection of 16 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 73 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 10 Bcf. At 3,525 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.

Natural Gas Inventory Report 9-17-09

Working gas in storage was 3,458 Bcf as of Friday, September 11, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 66 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 496 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 487 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,971 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 153 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 45 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 261 Bcf above the 5-year average of 849 Bcf after a net injection of 11 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 72 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 10 Bcf. At 3,458 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.

Stocks were 495 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 503 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,889 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 163 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 55 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 269 Bcf above the 5-year average of 830 Bcf after a net injection of 13 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 72 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 1 Bcf. At 3,392 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 3,323 Bcf as of Friday, August 28, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 65 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 489 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 501 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,822 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 156 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 52 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 268 Bcf above the 5-year average of 818 Bcf after a net injection of 7 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 77 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 6 Bcf. At 3,323 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.
