Natural Gas Inventory Report 12-28-07

Working gas in storage was 3,008 Bcf as of Friday, December 21, 2007, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 165 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 120 Bcf less than last year at this time and 220 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,788 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 46 Bcf above the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 100 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 135 Bcf above the 5-year average of 803 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 47 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 40 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 18 Bcf. At 3,008 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 3,173 Bcf as of Friday, December 14, 2007, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 121 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 4 Bcf less than last year at this time and 266 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,907 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 68 Bcf above the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 74 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 155 Bcf above the 5-year average of 830 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 25 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 43 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 22 Bcf. At 3,173 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 3,294 Bcf as of Friday, December 7, 2007, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 146 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 32 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 259 Bcf above the 5-year average of 3,035 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 61 Bcf above the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 101 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 145 Bcf above the 5-year average of 865 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 35 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 52 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 10 Bcf. At 3,294 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 3,440 Bcf as of Friday, November 30, 2007, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 88 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 32 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 273 Bcf above the 5-year average of 3,167 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 84 Bcf above the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 45 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 143 Bcf above the 5-year average of 902 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 29 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 46 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 14 Bcf. At 3,440 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.
