Natural Gas Inventory Report 1-29-09

Working gas in storage was 2,374 Bcf as of Friday, January 23, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 186 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 34 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 29 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,345 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 110 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 131 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 85 Bcf above the 5-year average of 723 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 48 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 54 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 7 Bcf. At 2,374 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Natural Gas Inventory Report 1-23-09

Working gas in storage was 2,560 Bcf as of Friday, January 16, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 176 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 20 Bcf less than last year at this time and 31 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,529 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 91 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 125 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 82 Bcf above the 5-year average of 774 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 43 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 39 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 8 Bcf. At 2,560 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 2,736 Bcf as of Friday, January 9, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 94 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 28 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 81 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,655 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 40 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 72 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 95 Bcf above the 5-year average of 804 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 3 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 26 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 19 Bcf.

Natural Gas Inventory Report 1-08-09

Working gas in storage was 2,830 Bcf as of Friday, January 2, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 47 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 31 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 87 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,743 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 18 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 49 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 78 Bcf above the 5-year average of 824 Bcf after a net injection of 14 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 26 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 12 Bcf. At 2,830 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
