Natural Gas Inventory Report 6-25-09

Working gas in storage was 2,651 Bcf as of Friday, June 19, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 94 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 631 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 482 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,169 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 115 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 70 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 265 Bcf above the 5-year average of 732 Bcf after a net injection of 12 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 102 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 12 Bcf. At 2,651 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 2,557 Bcf as of Friday, June 12, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 114 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 622 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 472 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,085 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 102 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 73 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 269 Bcf above the 5-year average of 716 Bcf after a net injection of 28 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 102 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 13 Bcf. At 2,557 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 2,443 Bcf as of Friday, June 5, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 106 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 568 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 438 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,005 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 82 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 67 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 255 Bcf above the 5-year average of 702 Bcf after a net injection of 23 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 101 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 16 Bcf. At 2,443 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 2,337 Bcf as of Friday, May 29, 2009, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 124 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 546 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 423 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,914 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 74 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 71 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 250 Bcf above the 5-year average of 684 Bcf after a net injection of 34 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 99 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 19 Bcf. At 2,337 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.
