Natural Gas Inventory Report 2-28-08

Working gas in storage was 1,619 Bcf as of Friday, February 22, 2008, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 151 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 133 Bcf less than last year at this time and 87 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,532 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 42 Bcf above the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 100 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 77 Bcf above the 5-year average of 494 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 35 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 32 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 16 Bcf. At 1,619 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Natural Gas Inventory Report 2-21-08

Working gas in storage was 1,770 Bcf as of Friday, February 15, 2008, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 172 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 127 Bcf less than last year at this time and 97 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,673 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 52 Bcf above the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 120 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 78 Bcf above the 5-year average of 528 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 37 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 32 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 15 Bcf. At 1,770 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

XTO Announces 20 Million Common Share Offering

Oil and gas exploration and production company XTO Energy (NYSE:XTO) Inc announced that it has priced a public offering of 20,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $55.00 per share. All shares are being sold by XTO. Proceeds of the offering are expected to fund recently announced property acquisitions and to repay indebtedness under its commercial paper program.

XTO also has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 3,000,000 additional shares of its common stock solely to cover over-allotments, if any.

XTO currently has about 483.6 million shares outstanding.

Working gas in storage was 1,942 Bcf as of Friday, February 8, 2008, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 120 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 183 Bcf less than last year at this time and 109 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,833 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 71 Bcf above the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 66 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 72 Bcf above the 5-year average of 571 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 27 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 34 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 27 Bcf. At 1,942 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 2,062 Bcf as of Friday, February 1, 2008, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 200 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 317 Bcf less than last year at this time and 62 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,000 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 32 Bcf above the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 119 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 54 Bcf above the 5-year average of 616 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 50 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 25 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 31 Bcf. At 2,062 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
