Natural Gas Inventory Report 9-27-07

Working gas in storage was 3,206 Bcf as of Friday, September 21, 2007, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 74 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 37 Bcf less than last year at this time and 238 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,968 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 101 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 44 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 110 Bcf above the 5-year average of 841 Bcf after a net injection of 20 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 27 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 10 Bcf. At 3,206 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Natural Gas Inventory Report 9-27-07

Working gas in storage was 3,132 Bcf as of Friday, September 14, 2007, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 63 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 32 Bcf less than last year at this time and 238 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,894 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 106 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 41 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 107 Bcf above the 5-year average of 824 Bcf after a net injection of 16 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 25 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 6 Bcf. At 3,132 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Natural gas prices rallied last week, closing above $7.

The next target is the August high of $7.34

Also note that Natural Gas prices are within 7 cents of the 200 day moving average of $7.18

Natural Gas Inventory Report 9-13-07

Working gas in storage was 3,069 Bcf as of Friday, September 7, 2007, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 64 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were at the same level as last year at this time and 260 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,809 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 119 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 50 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 113 Bcf above the 5-year average of 802 Bcf after a net injection of 12 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 28 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 2 Bcf. At 3,069 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 3,005 Bcf as of Friday, August 31, 2007, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 36 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 39 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 284 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,721 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 126 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 39 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 123 Bcf above the 5-year average of 780 Bcf after a net injection of 1 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 34 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 4 Bcf. At 3,005 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.
