Natural gas prices are under mounting pressure after this week's inventory data revealed a larger than anticipated build in natural gas inventories. The increase of 104 bcf was 18% above consensus estimates.

The United States Natural Gas Fund is on the verge of breaking through resistance above $41.50.

A close above $42 would be a very bullish signal and would indicate a high probability of a move back toward the highs set in August.
