Natural Gas Inventory Report 04-28-11
Working gas in storage was 1,685 Bcf as of Friday, April 22, 2011, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 31 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 215 Bcf less than last year at this time and 11 Bcf below the 5-year average of 1,696 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 94 Bcf below the 5-year average following net injections of 14 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 119 Bcf above the 5-year average of 674 Bcf after a net injection of 13 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 36 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net addition of 4 Bcf. At 1,685 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 1,654 Bcf as of Friday, April 15, 2011, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 47 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 165 Bcf less than last year at this time and 23 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,631 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 74 Bcf below the 5-year average following net injections of 29 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 128 Bcf above the 5-year average of 652 Bcf after a net injection of 17 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 31 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net addition of 1 Bcf. At 1,654 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 1,607 Bcf as of Friday, April 8, 2011, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 28 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 137 Bcf less than last year at this time and 10 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,597 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 90 Bcf below the 5-year average following net injections of 7 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 126 Bcf above the 5-year average of 637 Bcf after a net injection of 21 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 26 Bcf below the 5-year average after no net change. At 1,607 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 1,579 Bcf as of Friday, April 1, 2011, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 45 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 86 Bcf less than last year at this time and 10 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,569 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 87 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 52 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 119 Bcf above the 5-year average of 623 Bcf after a net injection of 2 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 23 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net addition of 5 Bcf. At 1,579 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
