Natural Gas Inventory Report 03-31-11
Working gas in storage was 1,624 Bcf as of Friday, March 25, 2011, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 12 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 12 Bcf less than last year at this time and 68 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,556 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 39 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 7 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 133 Bcf above the 5-year average of 607 Bcf after a net injection of 25 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 26 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 6 Bcf. At 1,624 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Working gas in storage was 1,612 Bcf as of Friday, March 18, 2011, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 6 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 12 Bcf less than last year at this time and 34 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,578 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 61 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 22 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 116 Bcf above the 5-year average of 599 Bcf after a net injection of 15 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 21 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net addition of 1 Bcf. At 1,612 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

Stocks in the West Region were 23 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 2 Bcf. At 1,618 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

In the East Region, stocks were 61 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 61 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 108 Bcf above the 5-year average of 595 Bcf after a net injection of 7 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 27 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 17 Bcf. At 1,674 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.

In the East Region, stocks were 80 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 71 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 83 Bcf above the 5-year average of 613 Bcf after a net injection of 9 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 18 Bcf below the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 23 Bcf. At 1,745 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
